We discovered, along with this remarkable image, the suggestion that Elle Ganado was roundly acknowledged as the finest Navaho Weaver around the turn of the 19th to 20th centuries. The great dignity and depth of this woman was almost certainly captured originally by F. A. Rinehart in Albuquerque, 1899 or 1900.
