This is our favorite photo of Lucille Mulhall, arguably America’s “first cowgirl” and the first to be inducted into the Cowgirl Hall of Fame. She is no longer a girl here, but she still has it – and she hasn’t lost her enthusiasm. And that is no small steer she has pulled down, somewhere on the Oklahoma plains.
