Yakima Canutt used his cowboy skills to become a high-profile rodeo champion and daredevil. Then he parlayed those, along with charm and a knack for invention, into a lifelong movie career. He never achieved movie stardom, but he appeared in dozens of films, became the seminal movie stuntman and was still in demand as a stunt coordinator well into his seventies.
